The books in libraries are a lot like people. The amount of them seems endless. Each one means a lot to someone, whether it be the author or the reader. The author spent so many nights constructing that book. It’s so important to them.
Yet… When you go into a library, much like when you step into the world, you walk by most of the stories. They mean nothing to you. Some you take one look at and never pick up again. Some you will start but never finish. That book you just overlooked? It saved someone’s life. Some of their covers are broken and tattered, but their stories stay the same.
It’s beautiful, even if some never realize.
